Why did we introduce
the new DOMIQ Base 2.0 model?
For over 17 years, we have been developing DOMIQ Base, introducing new features, integrations, and improvements at no extra cost. Today, its hardware platform has reached the end of its lifecycle: the processor is no longer in production, and component manufacturers have ceased support and security updates.
That is why we created DOMIQ Base 2.0—a significantly more powerful platform upon which we will continue to develop the system in the years to come.

New DOMIQ Remote
A new generation of the Remote app is in development. Base 2.0 will support its full range of new features.
Performance and memory specifications refer to the hardware platform compared to Base 1.0. The new generation of the Remote application signals future development.
The conditions will change starting in the new year.
The transfer of configurations and all existing licenses is included in the migration process until the end of 2026. Once the program concludes, these elements of the transition to Base 2.0 will be billed separately.
End of support and maintenance for Base 1.0
and the current migration program.
Starting in 2027, the cost of a new module will require the addition of a fee for migrating the existing system or purchasing new licenses. Under the current program, the transfer of configurations and licenses is included in the migration.

The scope of integration depends on the device model, additional modules, and required licenses. Migration preserves your existing licenses and configuration; enabling new integrations is a separate configuration step.
We will guide you through the migration.
You do not need to restore the system settings yourself. After purchase, you will receive the instructions needed to prepare and replace the module.
Order migration
Select the age-appropriate Base 1.0 variant and provide the device’s serial number, or contact your installer.
Send the module to us.
Send us your Base 1.0 module.
We will prepare Base 2.0.
We will transfer your configuration and licenses and verify the prepared module.
Switch to the new module
Arrange the replacement with the installer. Return the existing Base 1.0 unit in accordance with the migration procedure.
The implementation method depends on the chosen option: upgrading the existing device or replacing it with a new module. Agree on the schedule for preparation and connection when placing your order—plan the migration before the end of the year.
How old is your DOMIQ Base 1.0?
The age of the device determines the migration variant. In each case, we transfer the existing configuration and all existing licenses.
Base 1.0 for up to 24 months
