Why do I need a license?

The license allows you to use the Watergate Sonic integration with DOMIQ, enabling you to set up automatic rules and scenarios that control the Watergate Sonic water valve.

The most important features of the system include:

Precise Monitoring of the Water System
The system distinguishes between the valve’s status (open/closed) and the actual water flow, allowing it to accurately determine whether water is actually flowing and under what conditions (flow rate, temperature, consumption).
Ultra-precise analysis of flow and consumption
Ultrasonic measurement allows you to track not only the current flow rate, but also the total volume of water and the time it takes to flow—both in real time and historically.
Anomaly and Error Detection
The system identifies unusual situations, such as: unnaturally long flow (e.g., a faucet left running), exceeding a specified water volume, and measurement errors (e.g., no flow reading).
Automatic Water Shut-Off
In the event of a hazard, the valve can be closed automatically—based on defined thresholds (time, volume) or alarm events.
Event Logging and Comprehensive Diagnostics
Each event (e.g., automatic shutdown) includes details such as the cause, duration, volume of water flowing, and the time it occurred.
Integration with DOMIQ automation scenarios
Data from Watergate can be used in the system’s logic—for example, to shut off the water when leaving the house, upon detecting a leak, or as part of broader security scenarios.
Remote Control and Real-Time Monitoring
Check the valve status, flow rate, and other parameters, and manually control the valve (open/close) from within the app.
Valve Location
The “find” function activates an audible signal that helps you quickly locate the valve in the system.
Device Status Information
Access to technical data: uptime, battery voltage, power source, software version.
Operational Stability and Emergency Mode
The system continues to operate even during a power outage, ensuring uninterrupted protection of the water system.

ETHM licence

Licence enabling DOMIQ to be integrated into the Satel Integra control panel via the Satel ETHM-1 Plus module (firmware 2.05 or later) or Satel ETHM-1 (firmware 1.07 or later).All communication is done using the local network, so there is no need for a Serial-2SI module. Communication using the TCP protocol ensures lower data transmission delays, so responses from the control panel are much faster than with RS-232 protocol communication.The licence is permanently bound to a specific DOMIQ/Base module and cannot be transferred.
