What is DOMIQ Base 2.0?
DOMIQ Base 2.0 is a completely new version of our key module. Based on a fresh, modern hardware architecture, it opens up completely new possibilities for your installation and provides a solid foundation for future technologies.
DOMIQ Base 2.0 runs on a completely new hardware platform that delivers up to 40 times greater performance. This allows the system to respond faster, run more smoothly, and maintain stability even with highly complex smart home installations.
The module supports all existing features, but also offers entirely new capabilities, including integrations requiring an encrypted connection (TLS) and future features based on AI and machine learning. It’s an investment in a solution that will be developed and updated for years to come.
Greater processing power means that every command in the DOMIQ Remote app is executed virtually instantly. Changing lighting, blinds, or temperature is done without delay, and the interface works exceptionally smoothly—even in large homes with multiple devices.
DOMIQ Base 2.0 is equipped with significantly more memory, allowing for the uninterrupted storage of more data, graphics, and configurations.
Improved system diagnostics make servicing easier, and the risk of errors is minimized.

What does this mean for the current DOMIQ Base 1.0?
When you purchase DOMIQ Base 2.0 from our store, you’re guaranteed to receive the latest module. Previous-generation models are only available while supplies last. We also offer upgrades to the new version, which is important to ensure your installation is fully secure.
Support for the previous DOMIQ Base 1.0 module will end on December 31, 2026.
What about DOMIQ Base 1.0?
If you experience any problems, you can contact us for specialist assistance.
We will be releasing bug fixes and updates to improve the module’s security.
With the release of a new module, the old one will not receive any new updates adding new functionalities and integrations.
We are currently working on a completely new Remote application, which will not be compatible with the old DOMIQ Base.
Why is integration necessary?
For over 17 years, DOMIQ Base has been continuously developed, regularly releasing new features, integrations, and improvements at no additional charge. This exceptionally long support period in the electronics world is possible thanks to the availability of the processor on which DOMIQ Base was based.
Today, this hardware platform has reached the end of its life cycle (EOL):
- The processor is no longer manufactured,
- it no longer receives security updates,
- component manufacturers have ended support.
DOMIQ cannot develop software on a platform that is no longer available/produced.
Therefore, Base 2.0 was created as a new, significantly more powerful architecture. This is the one we will be developing the system on in the coming years.

Requests are only accepted until March 2026. The sooner you request your migration, the more certain you are of:

Fast replacement process – no downtime
After purchasing the migration, the installer or the customer themselves sends us Base 1.0, and we send you the new DOMIQ Base 2.0 within 24–48 hours—with a copy of the configuration loaded. This means the system works exactly as before—only faster and more stable.
What does the exchange look like step by step?
Choosing the right migration option
The customer selects the migration option appropriate to the age of their DOMIQ Base.
The migration price depends solely on the device’s purchase date.
After purchase, the customer receives an order number required for the migration process.
Returning the DOMIQ Base device
The customer returns their DOMIQ Base module to DOMIQ headquarters. The order number or proof of purchase must be included with the shipment.
The shipment must be properly secured – DOMIQ is not responsible for damage resulting from improper shipment preparation or carrier actions.
Modernization or replacement with a new module
Upon receipt of the device, DOMIQ will upgrade or replace it with a new one in accordance with its terms and conditions.
Your DOMIQ Base 1.0 remains with DOMIQ as a settlement (depending on the age of the previous module, its components or the entire older module).
CONFIGURATION TRANSFER AND TESTING
Existing configuration and licenses are fully migrated to DOMIQ Base 2.0.
Each upgraded or replaced DOMIQ Base 2.0 undergoes operational testing, after which it is sent for return shipment.
Sending the MODULE back to the customer
The new or upgraded DOMIQ Base 2.0 module is shipped to the customer’s address provided when ordering.
Standard delivery time is:
24–48 hours from receipt of shipment
(excluding weekends and holidays; shipments delivered on Friday may take longer). International shipping may take longer

The lowest migration price, which includes an upgrade instead of a full replacement.
For devices with an active warranty, we perform the following upgrades:
- top plate replacement,
case replacement with a black version, - installation of new screws and extensions,
- full configuration transfer,
- operational test.
This is the cheapest option because it includes warranty support. To take advantage of the migration offer, you must return your currently used DOMIQ Base module to DOMIQ.
DOMIQ Base 24-60 months

This option includes:
- a new DOMIQ Base 2.0 module at a reduced price,
- configuration transfer,
- full device test.
The most cost-effective option for multi-year installations. To take advantage of the migration offer, you must return your currently used DOMIQ Base module to DOMIQ.
