Integration with energy monitoring systems is one of the more important elements of a building automation system. It allows not only seeing consumption but also achieving real savings. This tutorial will show you how to integrate DOMIQ with the Tauron eLicznik system.
This tutorial will show you how to configure the eLicznik integration in the DOMIQ system and how to use the available data.
1. What is eLicznik #
eLicznik is a tool offering visualization and monitoring of energy consumption for customers who have a remote-reading meter.
The integration with eLicznik allows you to continuously track energy consumption and production directly in the DOMIQ system – without the need to log in to a separate app – and use this data for automation and optimization of energy consumption in the home.

The integration is available only for the DOMIQ Base 2.0 module.
2. Prerequisites #
For the integration to work correctly, the following is required:
- An active Tauron eLicznik account
- A remote-reading meter (AMI)
- Access to measurement data (not every meter has this!)
- Correct login credentials (username and password)
- Internet access from DOMIQ
Worth noting:
⚠️ Data in eLicznik is not real-time – it may be delayed by up to 24 hours.
3. Step-by-step configuration #
- Go to DOMIQ → Integrations.

- Enable a new integration → TAURON ELICZNIK.

- Enter your login credentials and click the “Fetch from account” button.
- Password

- The integration will automatically fetch the Energy Delivery Points (PPE).
- The PPE name can be changed freely (e.g.,
Home,Biuro,Sklep).
However, keep in mind that changing the name directly affects the variable names in the system, e.g.:ELICZNIK.Home.current_day_consumed→ELICZNIK.Sklep.current_day_consumed
- The PPE name can be changed freely (e.g.,

5. What is balancing? #
Since April 1, 2022, the law requires energy suppliers to balance energy for each hour when settling accounts with you. This means that first they sum up the energy you draw from the grid during each hour, on each phase. Then they subtract the sum of the energy you feed into the grid during that same hour, on all phases. The amounts of energy (consumed and fed in) that offset each other (balanced out) are treated as self-consumption and are not billed – as if they were neither fed in nor drawn by you. Only the energy that did not balance out is billed. On your invoice from the Supplier, you will therefore see either consumed energy (if you drew more than you fed in) or exported energy (if you fed in more than you drew).
Example:
Production: 10 kWh
Consumption: 8 kWh
→ Net: 2 kWh exported to the grid
